(NEX: SCT.H) (the “Company” or “Skychain”) is pleased to announce the appointment of Dr. Lisa Palleson-Stallan as the Chairman of the Board. Dr. Palleson-Stallan is a dynamic and accomplished professional with extensive experience in entrepreneurship, business strategy and leadership. She obtained her Ph.D. in International Business/Global Health from Nottingham Trent University, an M.A. in International Relations and Affairs from the University of New South Wales, and a Bachelor's degree in Communications/Business from Trinity Western University.
The Company also announces the appointment of Dr. Lisa Palleson-Stallan, Mr. Florian Munsch, and Mr. Don Gordon as the Company’s audit committee members. Mr. Munsch has served as CEO, President and Director for multiple European and international companies. Mr. Munsch brings over ten years of professional experience in capital markets, venture capital and business development. Mr. Munsch holds a B.Sc. in Bio-Geo-Sciences from the University of Koblenz, Germany and a M.Sc. in Biosciences from the University of Münster, Germany. Mr. Gordon continues to act as the Company’s CEO.
Each member of Skychain's Audit Committee is considered to be “financially literate”, as that term is defined in NI 52-110, in that each has the ability to read and understand a set of financial statements that present a breadth and level of complexity of accounting issues that are generally comparable to the breadth and complexity of the issues that can be expected to be raised by the Company's financial statements. Dr. Palleson-Stallan and Mr. Munsch are considered independent under the guidelines contained in applicable securities legislation.
